![]() OUr 17th Wonder Women shoot brought back one of our favorites, Carly. You may remember Carly from her Masque and Blue Dress shoots that she did with us a few years ago, and we've also had the wonderful honor of shooting Carly's wedding. She's wonderful mom, a survivor of great hardship, and an amazing person all around, we can't imagine not including her in this series. Carly's got an amazing presence, fabulous stature, captivating eyes, and we've always gotten amazing photos of her. For her shoot, Carly choose a simple, classic black, sheath dress, floor length. It provides the perfect backdrop for her lovely violet hair and her amazing body art. Carly's arm tattoos are phenomenal, and I hope the amazing detail and line work can be seen in our images. From our collection of weapons, Carly's sword choice follows a similar thought. A cruciform longsword, with a black leather grip. Forged by the bladesmiths at Chicago's Rogue Steel, we picked up this blade almost 12 years ago, and we think it perfectly complements Carly's shoot. Our location took us back to our favorite studio, Union 206 in Alexandria. Studio B is an intimate space with a ton of options, it's our first choice whenever we head there. Not great for large groups, but perfect for an intimate shoot like Wonder Women. Thank you to our friends at the studio, to Abbi for her phenomenal assistance, and of course, to Carly for her time and talent.
