Hi Everyone! Sorry for the long delay between updates. But the time has not going by idly! We've been busy gearing up for Sucker Punched 3! We're right at the tail end of a huge mass of test shoots, getting to meet and chat with a small portion of the over 50 people who contacted us about being part of Sucker Punched 3. The idea was to work with some of the people we've not met or worked with before. This week, we'll be meeting and doing the near impossible task of narrowing down our huge pool of potentials into a small, manageable group of pre-SP warriors.

First we met with DC Actress and cosplayer Samantha Kane! We met Samantha briefly at Magfest and were thrilled she was up for a test shoot with us. We loved hearing her Renn Faire stories and talking geek with her.
Our second shoot was with DC actress Becky Topol, who we've met briefly in the past, but never had a chance to work with. Her smile and wit made for a shoot full of laughs, especially after getting politely evicted from our shooting location.
Third shoot was with stuntwoman Sabreena Candreva! A brand new DC resident on loan to us from Chicago, Sabreena will be spending her year working with the Six Flags stunt team, but she made some time to work with us. We've been friends with Sabreena for a few years now, but with her being local, she's got no excuse not to shoot with us.
Fourth up, entirely coincidentally, was one of Sabreena's cast mates at Six Flags, fellow stuntwoman Ilyana Eberhardt. Gorgeous woman with a great smile and long time friends with some of our favorite people. We met up with Ilyana at the National Harbor, Maryland, and were treated to some of the nicest weather around.
Number 5 was DC actress Kaylnn Creighton. Kaylynn is friends with some of our favorite people in the whole world, and we simply fell in love with her hair. A second shoot at the National Harbor got us the chance to shoot with some great spaces and some beautiful backgrounds.
6 was DC Actress and personal trainer, Alani Kravitz! Our first shoot in Rosslyn in a long time, we got some gorgeous images of Alani and got to swap DC theater stories.
Shoot number 7 was dancer and aerialist Morgana Alba. Morgana has been in touch with us since the first iteration of Sucker Punched and we're thrilled to have such a talented artist admiring our work. And when we said "dress like you're auditioning to be Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer" she really nailed it!
Number 8 in our test shoots was dancer and actress (see her in Synetic Theater's Man in the Iron Mask soon!), Lauren Ashley! We've known Lauren for a short time, but we've loved working with her and getting to know her better. We were very impressed to discover years of modeling experience already in place!
Our ninth test shoot was with Simone, a long time fan of Sucker Punched and local musician. A quick meet up at the Lorton Workhouse got us some really fun, high contrast shots.
Meeting up with us at the Reston Metro for our tenth test shoot was actress Lilly McGee. An AU graduate with all the wonderful friends we've known from AU over the past few years, including Emily, one of our recurring models.
Our eleventh, and ostensibly final, test shoot was our friend Jillian Rubino. Jillian is a nurse and renn faire regular and this was her first time modeling! She was great! I'm glad she had fun and I hope we'll work with her again soon.
